Artificial, counterfeit or illusory whatever we call it, to a large or small extent, all these words are synonymous to the word fake. In the current materialistic world, where rush for self-achievements is a common phenomenon, meticulously perfectionists are quite cumbersome to find out. Prankster, crooked, trickster, conman or deceitful people are dominating everywhere. Candid persons with straightforward mindsets are often termed as uncouth entities by the contemporarily ‘smart people’ who like to brag off blatantly through touting their self-admired worldly possessions. Nowadays, Integrity, honesty or morality are entangled in deep abyss. In order to gain favor a little or large compromise with integrity is often taken as granted. This practice has become so common that absolute rigorousness towards morality frequently sidelines its followers in every sphere of today’s speedy world. It is a knotty paradox, isn't it?
Fake tears, fake nexus, fake affection, fake promise and fake sentiment are now engulfing the surroundings like a massive conflagration. Changing norms to cope with globalization, personalized value system, gradually increasing individualistic mindsets, endless race to keep pace with societal competition, fragile bonding and eroding relationship are igniting all these unwanted changes we are currently confronting with sheer mixed viewpoints. To some people these changes are unanimously welcome, to others these are critical sources of discomfort, but the number of latter group is staggeringly limited. By their very nature, people are adapting slowly but surely with selfish world where consumerism, competition, career, glamour, pride and glory are the everyday buzzwords. Some quixotic folks are facing utmost difficulties to cope with the ultra modern world and its contemporary practices. The real-life hardship is compelling them to accept the current vogues. However, because of their inveterate habits they are repeatedly failing to inure with all these newly followed modern day customaries. These people, with tender heart, are facing stiff challenges to adjust with the suffocating ambience created by the very activities of some ‘real life smarts’ who often try to set social benchmark and use real world's toughness as verbal weapon to assault their dissents. But, will it be totally unjust if we treat these so-called smarts as genuine hypocrites who are truly fake and vacuous by mind?
Unfortunately, situation is so complicated that any effort to establish morality pushes the initiator on the brink of a mammoth pit filled with unbound hassles. And the hassle creators are those losers who have already slaughtered their human instincts, the born human virtues the omnipotent gifted every human being. They preach others to follow their heinous legacy. Most dangerous among all these are actors, the conartists, who pretend more artistically than anybody else and exploit others wherever they can. They do unscrupulous things sometimes to save their own face, sometimes to take advantage, sometimes to protect their own interest, sometimes to prove themselves innocent, sometimes to deceive people or sometimes from habitual urge. Ironically, these hypocrisies are happening because of their vague idea about destiny and what is truly important in this materialistic but obviously fleeting world.
May be all these unacceptable occurrences are relentlessly contributing to say why earth is no more a prime place to live with personal integrity. The man-made, toxic societal system continuously leads to shun consecrated mindset that likes to follow integrity—rather it entices to possess a bit more shabby mindset that is readily available to compromise with integrity to gain materialistic pleasure. But what about happiness, the most vital and indisputable transaction account of every individual balance sheet, which is truly important end of the day? Can the materialistic world bring forth genuine happiness that pacifies the heart and give precious feelings of heightened self-esteem? The authentic answer of this question subjects to honest introspection which is the result of sacred not sordid mindest.
